Wrexham And District Youth Football League
The Wrexham And District Youth Football League (WDJFL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-17 in the Wrexham area of North Wales.
The league was founded in 1964 and currently has 27 clubs affiliated to it, with over 2,500 players. The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age and ability of the players.
Objectives
- To promote youth football in the area
- To make contact with other youth football leagues at home and abroad to improve the standard of play
- To provide a safe and enjoyable environment for players to learn and develop their football skills
Membership
To be eligible to join the WDJFL, clubs must:
- Be affiliated to the North East Wales Football Association
- Have an elected committee of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer
- Submit an application form by the 1st July
Competitions
The WDJFL runs a number of competitions for players of all ages, including:
- The Wrexham Junior Cup
- The Wrexham Minor Cup
- The Wrexham District League
