Three Counties Ability Counts League (3CACL)
The Three Counties Ability Counts League (3CACL) is an amateur football league for players with disabilities in Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Worcestershire.
History
The 3CACL was founded in 2010, following the announcement by the Football Association that County Leagues should be formed to provide an outlet for players with disabilities.
The league was originally intended to be a single league for all three counties, but this proved to be impractical due to the small number of teams in each county. As a result, the league was split into two divisions: the Blue Division and the Red Division.
The 3CACL has grown steadily since its inception, and now has over 20 teams competing in its two divisions.
League Structure
The 3CACL is a league for players with disabilities of all levels of ability. The Blue Division is for players with more severe disabilities, while the Red Division is for players with less severe disabilities.
The league season runs from September to May, and each team plays each other team in their division twice. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the previous division.
