WLYL Amateur Football League
The WLYL (West London Youth League) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-16 in the west London area. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 1,000 players registered.
Divisions
The WLYL has a number of divisions for different age groups and skill levels. The divisions are:
- Under-7s
- Under-8s
- Under-9s
- Under-10s
- Under-11s
- Under-12s
- Under-13s
- Under-14s
- Under-15s
- Under-16s
The top division for each age group is the Premier Division. The Premier Divisions for the Under-13s, Under-14s, Under-15s, and Under-16s are also part of the Middlesex County Youth League.
Season
The WLYL season runs from September to April. Each team plays 18-20 matches in the regular season. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs, which are held in April.
