Introduction
The Westmoreland Football League is an amateur football league based in the Lake District, England. It was founded in 1890 and currently consists of 20 teams. The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division.
The league is affiliated to the North West Counties Football League and the English Football Association.
The current champions are Ambleside Town, who won the Premier Division in the 2022-23 season.
History

Divisions
The Westmoreland Football League is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division.
The Premier Division consists of the top 10 teams in the league. The teams in the Premier Division play each other twice, once at home and once away.
The First Division consists of the remaining 10 teams in the league. The teams in the First Division play each other once, home or away.
