West Lothian Sunday Amateur Football League
The West Lothian Sunday Amateur Football League (WLSAFL) is an amateur football league in West Lothian, Scotland. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 60 teams competing in 10 divisions. The league is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA).
History
The WLSAFL was founded in 1972 by a group of football enthusiasts in West Lothian. The league started with just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 60 teams competing. The league has been affiliated to the SAFA since its inception.
Structure
The WLSAFL currently has 10 divisions, with each division having 6 teams. The top two teams from each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division. The league also has a cup competition, the WLSAFL Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
