West Cumbria Youth League
The West Cumbria Youth League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 18 in West Cumbria, England.
History
The league was founded in 1973 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups and divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Cumberland FA and its motto is "Football for All".
Season Structure
The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once in a round-robin format.
The top teams in each division qualify for the play-offs, with the winners being promoted to the next level.
Cup Competitions
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the West Cumbria Youth League Cup, the Under-18 League Cup, and the Under-16 League Cup.
The cup competitions are open to all teams in the league and are a great way for teams to win silverware and compete against other top teams in the area.
