The league was founded in 1906 as the Taunton & District Saturday League. It was renamed the West Country Drainage Services Taunton & District Saturday League in 2019.
The league has been won by a number of clubs over the years, including Bridgwater Town, Taunton Town, and Wellington Town.
Current Season
The current season began on September 2, 2023. The Premier Division is currently led by Bridgwater Town, followed by Galmington and North Petherton.
