Weetabix Youth League
The Weetabix Youth League is an amateur football league for children and young people aged 5-16 years old. It is run by the Weetabix Football Trust, a registered charity that aims to promote football and healthy living among young people.
History
The Weetabix Youth League was founded in 1999. It was originally a local league based in Northamptonshire, but it has since expanded to cover a wider area of the East Midlands.
Divisions
The Weetabix Youth League has a number of divisions, catering for different age groups and abilities. The divisions are as follows:
- Under-5s
- Under-7s
- Under-9s
- Under-11s
- Under-13s
- Under-15s
- Under-16s
Format
The Weetabix Youth League is a league competition. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the previous division.
