Walsall Juniors Football League

The Walsall Juniors Football League (WJYL) is an amateur football league for players aged 7-16 in the Walsall area of the West Midlands.

The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

The WJYL is affiliated to the Staffordshire County FA and is a Charter Standard League. This means that it meets the FA's high standards of organization and administration.

Recent Accomplishments

  • The WJYL was awarded the Staffordshire County FA Charter Standard League of the Year Award in 2017 and 2019.
  • The league has also been awarded the North West Regional FA Charter Standard League of the Year Award in 2017.
