Veterans Football Alliance
The Veterans Football Alliance (AFA) is an amateur football league for players over the age of 40. It was founded in 1996 and currently has over 1,000 clubs affiliated to it.
The AFA operates a number of different competitions, including a league, cup, and plate. The league is divided into regional divisions, with promotion and relegation between divisions. The cup is open to all clubs, while the plate is for teams that have been knocked out of the cup.
The AFA also runs a number of other events, such as trials and tournaments. It also provides a range of support services to its clubs, such as coaching and refereeing.
