Uttoxeter & District Sunday League
The Uttoxeter & District Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has 26 teams competing in two divisions.
History
The league was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season consisted of 10 teams, and the inaugural champions were Uttoxeter Town Reserves.
The league has grown steadily over the years, and currently has 26 teams competing in two divisions. The top team in Division One at the end of the season is promoted to the Staffordshire County Sunday League Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division Two. The top team in Division Two at the end of the season is promoted to Division One, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Staffordshire County Sunday League Supplementary League.
