United Services Football League
The United Services Football League (USFL) is an amateur football league in the United Kingdom. It is open to military and civilian teams. The league was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in it.
History
The USFL was founded in 1920 by a group of military officers who wanted to provide a competitive football league for service personnel. The league was originally called the Royal Navy and Army Football League, but it was renamed the United Services Football League in 1946.
The USFL has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing in it. The league is divided into three divisions: the Championship, Division One, and Division Two. The top teams in each division qualify for the USFL Cup, which is the league's premier knockout competition.
Current season
The current season of the USFL is the 2022-23 season. The Championship is currently being led by HMS Collingwood, while Division One is being led by 12 Regiment Royal Artillery. Division Two is being led by HMNB Portsmouth.
