Uist & Barra League
The Uist & Barra Amateur Football Association (PAFA) is a football (soccer) league competition for amateur clubs in Uist and Barra in the Hebrides of northwestern Scotland.
The association is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association. Teams in this division also take part in the Highland Amateur Cup and in the Co-op Cup along with clubs from the Lewis & Harris Football Association.
History
The Uist & Barra Amateur Football Association was founded in 1971. The inaugural season featured four teams: Barra, Benbecula, Southend, and Eriskay.
The league has expanded over the years, and currently consists of six teams:
- Barra
- Benbecula
- Eriskay
- Iochdar Saints
- North Uist United
- Southend
Current Season
The 2023 season is currently underway. The current standings are as follows:
- Iochdar Saints (13 points)
- Barra (12 points)
- Eriskay (14 points)
- Benbecula (15 points)
- North Uist United (4 points)
- Southend (3 points)
