Introduction
The Toronto Chinese Soccer Association (TCSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting soccer in the Chinese and East-Asian community of Toronto and the GTA.
The TCSA offers a variety of programs for players of all ages and abilities, including:
- A youth league for players ages 5-16
- An adult league for players ages 17 and up
- A summer camp for players ages 5-16
- A select team program for players ages 8-16
The TCSA also organizes a variety of tournaments and events throughout the year.
The TCSA is committed to providing a fun and safe environment for players of all ages to enjoy the sport of soccer.
History
The TCSA was founded in 1976 by a group of Chinese immigrants who wanted to provide a place for their children to play soccer.
The TCSA has grown significantly over the years and now has over 1,000 registered players.
The TCSA has also been involved in a number of community initiatives, such as the Soccer for Success program, which provides soccer scholarships to underprivileged youth.
Accomplishments
The TCSA has a long history of success in both local and national competitions.
In recent years, the TCSA has won a number of championships, including the Ontario Chinese Soccer Association (OCSA) Super League title and the Ontario Cup.
The TCSA has also produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play professionally, including Jonathan Osorio and Tesho Akindele.
