Toolstation Western League
The Toolstation Western League is an English association football league in the South West of England. It is currently in the ninth tier of the English football league system. The league was founded in 1892 and currently has 40 member clubs.
History
The Toolstation Western League was founded in 1892 as the Western Football League. The league was originally divided into two divisions, but this was increased to three divisions in 1905. The league has been sponsored by Toolstation since 2012.
The Toolstation Western League has produced a number of professional footballers, including Alan Shearer, Chris Smalling, and Gareth Bale.
Current Season
The current season of the Toolstation Western League is the 2023-2024 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Chard Town, while the Division One is being led by Bridgwater Town.
