Tokyo Metropolitan League
The Tokyo Metropolitan League (TML) is an amateur football league in Tokyo, Japan. It is the highest level of amateur football in Tokyo, and is composed of 30 teams divided into three divisions.
The TML was founded in 2002 by Footy Japan, a sports management and marketing company. The league is played on a round-robin format, with each team playing each other team once. The top two teams from each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
The current champions of the TML are FC Tokyo U-23, who won the title in 2022.
