History
The league was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw just six teams compete, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 40 teams.
The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years, with no one team dominating. The most successful team is Belhus Park Athletic, who have won the title 12 times.
Divisions

The teams in each division play each other once, home and away. The top team in each division at the end of the season is promoted to the next division, while the bottom team in each division is relegated to the next division.
Cup competitions

The cup competitions are open to all teams in the league and are played in a knockout format. The winners of the cup competitions qualify for the Thurrock & District Association Sunday League Cup, which is the overall cup competition for the league.
