Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League
The Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League is an English football league for under-18 teams in the eastern region of England. It is currently known as the Thurlow Nunn League for sponsorship purposes.
History
The league was founded in 1973 as the Eastern Counties Youth Football League. It was renamed the Thurlow Nunn League in 2012.
Structure
The league consists of two divisions: the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division has 18 teams, while the First Division has 16 teams.
The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the Eastern Counties Football League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the First Division. The top two teams in the First Division are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Eastern Counties Youth Football League.
Recent seasons
- In the 2021-22 season, the Premier Division was won by Needham Market, while the First Division was won by Felixstowe & Walton United.
- In the 2020-21 season, the Premier Division was won by Leiston, while the First Division was won by Stowmarket Town.
- In the 2019-20 season, the Premier Division was won by Needham Market, while the First Division was won by Ipswich Wanderers.
