About the Thurlow Nunn League
The Thurlow Nunn League is an English football league comprising 180 clubs across 5 divisions. It is the 10th tier of the English football league system and is named after Thurlow Nunn Funeral Services, who are the league's sponsors.The league was founded in 1972 as the Eastern Counties League and was renamed the Thurlow Nunn League in 2005. The league is divided into 5 divisions:
- Premier Division
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
- Division Four
The Premier Division champions are promoted to the Isthmian League North Division, while the bottom 2 clubs are relegated to Division One. The champions of Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom 2 clubs are relegated to Division Two. The champions of Division Two are promoted to Division One, while the bottom 2 clubs are relegated to Division Three. The champions of Division Three are promoted to Division Two, while the bottom 2 clubs are relegated to Division Four. The champions of Division Four are promoted to Division Three, while the bottom 2 clubs are relegated to the Essex Olympian League.
