The Trophyuk.net Royston Crow Youth Football League
The Trophyuk.net Royston Crow Youth Football League is an amateur football league for children and young people in the Royston area of Hertfordshire, England.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
League Structure
The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One. The Premier Division is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the league. Division One is the second division and is contested by the rest of the teams.
The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
Cup Competitions
In addition to the league, the Trophyuk.net Royston Crow Youth Football League also runs a number of cup competitions. These include the Trophyuk.net Cup, the Kim Bailey Trophy, and the Bill Doyle Memorial Trophy.
The Trophyuk.net Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league. It is open to all teams in the league and is played over a knockout format.
The Kim Bailey Trophy is a cup competition for Under-10 teams. It is named after Kim Bailey, a former player and chairman of the league.
The Bill Doyle Memorial Trophy is a cup competition for Under-12 teams. It is named after Bill Doyle, a former referee and administrator of the league.
