About the Langbaurgh Sunday League
The Langbaurgh Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. It is affiliated to the North Riding County FA and has approximately 25 teams.
The league was founded in 1972 and has been running continuously ever since. It is currently sponsored by Manjaros.
The league plays its games on Sundays throughout the season, from September to May. The season is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One.
The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the Teesside Football League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
The winners of the Terry Smith Trophy, which is the league's cup competition, also qualify for promotion to the Teesside Football League.
