The Footbal Company
The Footbal Company is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the highest level of amateur football in the country, and is divided into two divisions: the Tweede Divisie and the Derde Divisie.
The Footbal Company was founded in 2010 as a replacement for the Hoofdklasse, which was the highest level of amateur football at the time. The league is governed by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB).
Tweede Divisie
The Tweede Divisie is the first division of the Footbal Company. It is made up of 20 teams, and each team plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of professional football in the Netherlands.
Derde Divisie
The Derde Divisie is the second division of the Footbal Company. It is made up of 24 teams, and each team plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Tweede Divisie.
