The Express Auto Centre Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League
The Express Auto Centre Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Kent, England. It is affiliated to the Kent County Football Association and is currently in its 75th season. The league consists of 20 teams divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One.
History
The league was founded in 1948 as the Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League. The league's first chairman was Mr. G.T. Harris. The league has been sponsored by Express Auto Centre since 2019.
Competition Format
The league season runs from September to April. Each team plays each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the Kent League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Kent County League.
Current Season
The 2023-2024 season is the 75th season of the Express Auto Centre Maidstone and Mid Kent Sunday Football League. The Premier Division is currently led by Barming Blues, while Division One is currently led by East Malling.
