The Calder Valley Sunday League sponsored by Briggs Priestley is an amateur football league based in the Calder Valley area of West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1904 and currently has over 100 teams competing in 10 divisions.
History
The league was founded in 1904 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw just 10 teams competing, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams.
The league has been sponsored by Briggs Priestley since 2019. Briggs Priestley is a local engineering company that is committed to supporting local sports teams.
Divisions
The league is divided into 10 divisions:
- Premier Division
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
- Division Four
- Division Five
- Division Six
- Division Seven
- Division Eight
- Division Nine
- Division Ten
The teams in each division play each other twice, home and away, during the season. The top teams in each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
Cup competitions
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the:

- Calder Valley Sunday League Challenge Cup
- Calder Valley Sunday League Trophy
- Calder Valley Sunday League Presidents Cup
The cup competitions are open to all teams in the league. The winners of the cup competitions qualify for the FA Sunday Cup.
