Thames Valley Schools League
The Thames Valley Schools League is an amateur football league for schools in the Thames Valley region of England. It was founded in 2014 and currently consists of 1st XI teams from secondary schools.
History
The Thames Valley Schools League was founded in 2014 by a group of school football coaches who wanted to provide a competitive league for schools in the Thames Valley region. The league started with just 10 teams, but has since grown to over 30 teams.
The league is administered by the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB). The TVDSB is a school board that oversees over 200 schools in the Thames Valley region.
Format
The Thames Valley Schools League is a league for 1st XI teams from secondary schools. The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One. The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs, with the winner being crowned champions.
The league season runs from September to March. Each team plays each other team in their division once, with the top two teams from each division qualifying for the playoffs.
