Tamworth Junior Football League
The Tamworth Junior Football League (TJFL) is an amateur football league based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England. The league was founded in 1973 and currently has over 1,000 registered players.
History
The TJFL was founded in 1973 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially consisted of just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 1,000 registered players.
The TJFL is affiliated with the Staffordshire County FA and the FA. This means that the league's teams are eligible to compete in various cup competitions, including the FA Vase and the FA Youth Cup.
Competitions
The TJFL runs competitions for boys and girls from Under 7s to Under 18s. The competitions are divided into age groups and skill levels. The TJFL also runs a number of representative teams, including an Under 12s State Championship team.
