Taff Ely & Rhymney Valley League
The Taff Ely & Rhymney Valley League is an amateur football league covering the Taff-Ely and Rhymney Valley in South Wales. The leagues are at the seventh, eighth and ninth levels of the Welsh football league system.
History
The league was founded in 1974 as the Taff Ely League. The Rhymney Valley League was founded in 1982. The two leagues merged in 1998 to form the Taff Ely & Rhymney Valley League.
Structure
The league consists of three divisions: the Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2. The Premier Division has 12 teams, Division 1 has 11 teams and Division 2 has 8 teams.
The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the South Wales Alliance League. The bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to Division 1. The top two teams in Division 1 are promoted to the Premier Division. The bottom two teams in Division 1 are relegated to Division 2. The top two teams in Division 2 are promoted to Division 1.

The 2022-23 season is currently underway. The current champions are Cwrt Rawlin.
