Syl Premier Elite
The Syl Premier Elite is an amateur football league for under-14 players in Surrey, England. It is the highest level of competition in the Surrey Youth League (SYL). The league was founded in 2005 and currently has 16 teams competing in it.
History
The Syl Premier Elite was founded in 2005 as the top division of the Surrey Youth League. The league was originally known as the Syl Premier Division, but it was renamed to the Syl Premier Elite in 2017.
The first season of the Syl Premier Elite was won by Walton Casuals. Other past winners of the league include Sutton United, Cove Youth FC, and Ashtead Colts.
Format
The Syl Premier Elite is a league format, with each team playing each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Syl Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Syl Division One.
