Introduction

The Swindon & District Football League (SDFL) is an amateur football league based in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. It was founded in 1891 and currently has 6 divisions, with a total of over 100 clubs.

The SDFL is affiliated to the Football Association and its leagues are ranked at Step 7 of the National League System. The top division, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by Swindon Advertiser.

Swindon & District Community Football League action

The SDFL is a popular and well-respected league, and its teams have produced a number of players who have gone on to play professional football, including former Swindon Town and England internationals John Trollope and Paul Bodin.
