Sussex Sunday League
The Sussex Sunday League is an amateur football league in the county of Sussex, England. It is the largest Sunday league in Sussex, with over 200 clubs and 3,000 players.
History
The Sussex Sunday League was founded in 1922. The inaugural season consisted of 12 clubs. The league has grown steadily over the years, and now has 20 divisions, ranging from the Premier Division to Division 10.
Structure
The Sussex Sunday League is divided into 20 divisions, ranging from the Premier Division to Division 10. The Premier Division is the top division, and is followed by Division 1, Division 2, and so on.
The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season qualify for the Sussex Sunday League Cup. The winners of the Sussex Sunday League Cup qualify for the FA Sunday Cup.
Season
The Sussex Sunday League season runs from September to May. Each team plays 22 games in the regular season, with the top four teams in each division qualifying for the playoffs.
