Sussex Sunday Football League

The Sussex Sunday Football League (SSFL) is an amateur football league in Sussex, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently has over 200 clubs affiliated to it. The SSFL is divided into a number of divisions, with promotion and relegation between divisions based on league performance.

History

The SSFL was founded in 1921 by a group of football enthusiasts in Sussex. The league initially consisted of just a few clubs, but it has grown steadily over the years. In 1974, the SSFL became affiliated to the Football Association.

Sussex Sunday Football League action

The SSFL has a number of cup competitions, including the Sussex Sunday Senior Cup, the Sussex Sunday Junior Cup, and the Sussex Sunday Challenge Cup. The league also hosts a number of other events, such as a summer tournament and a veterans' tournament.
