Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football League Division 1
The Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football League Division 1 is one of the five divisions of the Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football Association (SMAFA). It is the lowest division in the league, and is made up of teams from all over the former Strathclyde region, from Airdrie in the east to Gourock in the west.
History
The league was founded in 1962 as the Strathclyde Saturday Morning Civil Service League. It changed its name to the Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football League in 1989.
