Stourbridge & District Youth And Girls Football League
The Stourbridge & District Youth And Girls Football League is an amateur football league in the West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams participating in it. The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age and ability of the players.
Competitions
- The league runs a number of competitions for different age groups, including the Under-7s, Under-8s, Under-9s, Under-10s, Under-11s, Under-12s, Under-13s, Under-14s, Under-15s, Under-16s, and Under-18s.
- The league also runs a girls' football league for girls aged 7-16.
- In addition to the regular league competitions, the league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Challenge Cup, the Charity Cup, and the League Cup.
Rules
The league's rules are based on the FA's Standard Code of Rules for Youth Football. The rules cover a number of areas, including eligibility, player registration, match organization, and discipline.
Season
The league's season runs from September to May. The season is divided into two halves, with each team playing each other team in their division once in each half. The top teams in each division at the end of the season qualify for promotion to the next division, while the bottom teams in each division are relegated to the next division.
