Introduction
The Stockport District Sunday Football League is an amateur football league in Greater Manchester, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The league is divided into 10 divisions, ranging from the Premier Division to Division 10. The Premier Division is the top division in the league, and it is home to some of the best amateur teams in the area. The other divisions are split into two groups, North and South.
The teams in each group play each other twice, once home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
The league also has a cup competition, the Stockport District Sunday Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league, and it is played in a knockout format.
