South Liverpool & District Junior Football League
The South Liverpool & District Junior Football League (Sth Liverpool JFL) is an amateur football league based in South Liverpool, England. It was founded in 1969 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its teams compete in the FA Youth Cup and other national competitions. The Sth Liverpool JFL is also a member of the Liverpool County Football Association (LCFA).
League Structure
The Sth Liverpool JFL is divided into three divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
Each division has a home and away season, with the top teams at the end of the season promoted to the next division and the bottom teams relegated to the previous division.
Cup Competitions
In addition to the league, the Sth Liverpool JFL also runs a number of cup competitions, including:
- The League Cup
- The Challenge Cup
- The President's Cup
- The Junior Cup
The cup competitions are open to all teams in the league and are played in a knockout format.
