Staffordshire County Senior League
The Staffordshire County Senior League is an amateur football league based in Staffordshire, England. It was formed in 2005 as a merger of the Midland League and the Staffordshire County League.
The league operates three divisions, the Premier Division, which sits at Step 7 of the English football league system, Division One, and Division Two.
History
The Staffordshire County Senior League was formed in 2005 as a merger of the Midland League and the Staffordshire County League. The Midland League was founded in 1891 and was originally called the North Staffordshire League. The Staffordshire County League was founded in 1919.
The Premier Division of the Staffordshire County Senior League currently has 18 clubs. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Northern Premier League Division One South, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
Current Season
The current season of the Staffordshire County Senior League is the 2022-23 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by AFC Alsager, with Leek C.S.O.B. in second place and Kidsgrove Athletic FC Reserves in third place.
