Staffordshire Ability Counts League (Youth)
The Staffordshire Ability Counts League (Youth) is a PAN disability league providing players with a range of impairments/ disabilities to play competitive football within Staffordshire.
History
The league was founded in 2014 by the Staffordshire FA in partnership with the Disability Football Association. It is now in its 8th season and has over 30 teams participating.
The league caters for U16's and U12's teams within a 4 year age banding in line with pan-disability football rules. However, the league hopes to extend this to U8's in the future.
Format
The league is split into two divisions, the Championship and the Premier Division. The teams play each other once during the season, with the top teams in each division qualifying for the playoffs.
The league also hosts a number of cup competitions, including the League Cup, the Charity Shield and the Staffordshire FA Trophy.
Venues
The league fixtures are played at a variety of venues across Staffordshire, including:
