SSFL Sussex Sunday Football League
The SSFL Sussex Sunday Football League is an amateur football league in Sussex, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 200 teams playing in 11 divisions. The league is affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association.
History
The SSFL was founded in 1922 by a group of football enthusiasts in Sussex. The first season saw just 10 teams competing, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 teams. The SSFL is one of the largest amateur football leagues in England.
The SSFL has a long and proud history. In 1984, the league won the FA Sunday Cup, the national cup competition for amateur football teams. The SSFL has also produced a number of professional footballers, including former England internationals Kevin Keegan and David Beckham.
Divisions
The SSFL currently has 11 divisions, divided into two tiers. The Premier Division is the top tier, followed by Division 1. The remaining nine divisions are divided into two regional groups, East and West.

Cups
In addition to the regular league season, the SSFL also runs a number of cup competitions. The most important cup competition is the SSFL Challenge Cup, which is open to all teams in the league. The SSFL also runs a League Cup, a Presidents Cup, and a Junior Cup.
