Southmoor Division III
Southmoor Division III is an amateur football league based in the Southmoor area of London. The league was founded in 1975 and currently has 12 teams competing in a single division. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to Southmoor Division II, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Southmoor Division IV.
History
Southmoor Division III was founded in 1975 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just six teams, but it has since grown to its current size of 12 teams. The league has been won by a variety of teams over the years, with no one team dominating.
