About the Southern Vets
The Southern Vets is an amateur football league for players over the age of 35. It was founded in 1985 and currently has over 100 clubs competing in its various divisions.
The league is based in the south of England and covers London, the Home Counties, and the South East. It is affiliated to the Southern Amateur Football League (SAL), which is a member of the Football Association (FA).
The Southern Vets offers a variety of divisions to cater for different levels of ability. There are divisions for players over the age of 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55. There are also cup competitions for each age group.
The Southern Vets is a popular league with a friendly atmosphere. It is a great way for players to stay active and enjoy the game of football after they have finished playing at a higher level.
