The Southend Borough Combination Football League was founded in 1920 by a group of local football clubs. The league initially had just one division, but a second division was added in 1923. The league has grown steadily over the years and currently has 20 teams in two divisions.
The league has been won by a number of different clubs over the years. The most successful club is Southend United Reserves, who have won the league 14 times. Other successful clubs include Leigh Town, Rochford Town, and Prittlewell United.
Current Season
The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is being led by Ashingdon, while the Division One is being led by Southend Collegians.
