History
The Southend Borough & District Football Combination was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had 12 clubs, but it has since grown to over 60 clubs.
The league has been won by a number of different clubs over the years, including Southend United Reserves, Leigh Town, and Rochford Town.
Current season
The 2022-23 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is being led by Ashingdon, while the Division One title is being contested by Southend Collegians and Rayleigh.
