About Southend Junior Football League
A long-running Sunday youth league
The Southend & District Youth League is a Sunday grassroots football competition serving the Southend and district area of Essex. Its official history records that Roy Chaplin established the league in 1972 with eight founder teams. It has continued to provide a local competition for youth clubs for more than five decades.
