South Cheshire Youth League
The South Cheshire Youth League is an amateur football league for children and young people in the South Cheshire area of England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its leagues.
History
The South Cheshire Youth League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years. Today, the league has over 100 teams competing in its leagues, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is affiliated to the Cheshire FA and is a member of the National League System. This means that the league's teams are eligible to compete in the FA Youth Cup.
League Structure
The South Cheshire Youth League is divided into three divisions: Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The teams in each division are divided into a number of leagues, depending on their age group.
The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays a number of matches against the other teams in their league. The top teams in each league at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
