Somerset Girls' Football League
The Somerset Girls' Football League is an amateur football league for girls in Somerset, England. It was founded in 1992 and currently has over 100 clubs affiliated to it. The league caters for girls from the age of 7 to 16, and offers a variety of competitive leagues and cup competitions.
League Structure
The Somerset Girls' Football League is divided into four divisions: U10 Development, U11, U12 North and U13-U16. Each division is further divided into a number of leagues, depending on the number of clubs affiliated to the league. The top two teams in each league at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
Cup Competitions
The Somerset Girls' Football League also offers a number of cup competitions for its member clubs. These include the U10 League Cup, the U11 League Cup, the U12 League Cup, the U13 League Cup, the U14 League Cup, the U15 League Cup and the U16 League Cup. There is also a County Cup competition for the top teams in the league.
