Somerset County Women's League

The Somerset County Women's League (SCWL) is an amateur football league for women in Somerset County, England. The league was founded in 1974 and currently has three divisions: Division 1, Division 2 North, and Division 2 South.

The SCWL is affiliated with the Somerset FA and sits in tier 7 of the National League System for women's football. The league is open to all women aged 16 and over, regardless of ability.

Divisions

  • Division 1: This is the top division of the SCWL and consists of 10 teams. The teams play each other home and away, with the top two teams at the end of the season promoted to the Western League Women's Division 1.
  • Division 2 North: This division consists of 8 teams. The teams play each other home and away, with the top two teams at the end of the season promoted to Division 1.
  • Division 2 South: This division consists of 9 teams. The teams play each other home and away, with the top two teams at the end of the season promoted to Division 1.
