The Sk Fruit Chippenham District Sunday League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league was originally called the Chippenham & District Sunday Football League, but was renamed in 2018 to reflect its sponsorship by S.K. Fruits Limited.
The league has grown steadily since its inception, and currently has teams from across Chippenham and the surrounding area. The league is divided into one division, with each team playing each other once during the season. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the previous division.
