Introduction
The Singapore EPL Fan Club League (SEFL) is an amateur football league for fans of English Premier League (EPL) clubs in Singapore.
The league was founded in 2012 by a group of EPL fans who wanted to create a more organized and competitive environment for fans to play football.
The SEFL currently has over 20 teams, representing all 20 EPL clubs.
The league is played on a Sunday morning format, with each team playing 10 games in the regular season.
The top four teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs, with the winner being crowned the SEFL champion.
Rules and Regulations
- The league is open to all fans of EPL clubs who are 18 years of age and above.
- Each team must have a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 15 players.
- The games are played on a 7-a-side format, with each team having 5 outfield players and 2 goalkeepers.
- The games are played on a 30-minute halves, with a 5-minute break in between.
- The use of sliding tackles is not allowed.
- The league follows the Laws of the Game as set out by FIFA.
VenuesThe SEFL games are played at various venues around Singapore, including the Sengkang Sports Complex, the Bishan Sports Centre, and the Queensway Stadium.
Cost
The cost of participating in the SEFL is SGD$200 per team per season.
