Shropshire Junior Football League
The Shropshire Junior Football League (SJFL) is an amateur football league for young people in Shropshire, England. It is affiliated to the Shropshire FA.
History
The SJFL was founded in 1921. The original league consisted of just 10 teams, but it has since grown to over 100 teams.
The SJFL has been home to some of the best young footballers in Shropshire, including former England internationals Michael Owen and Ashley Cole.
Competitions
The SJFL runs leagues for players aged 7 to 16 years old. The league also runs cup competitions for each age group. The SJFL also runs a futsal league for players aged 10 to 16 years old.
