SHKOLLA EMIN DURAKU SHTIME
SHKOLLA EMIN DURAKU SHTIME is an amateur football league in Shtime, Kosovo. It was founded in 1950 and is named after Emin Duraku, a local football player who died in a car accident in 1949.
The league consists of 10 teams and plays its matches on a 10-team round-robin basis. The top two teams at the end of the season qualify for the promotion play-offs, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower league.
History
SHKOLLA EMIN DURAKU SHTIME was founded in 1950 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially consisted of only four teams, but it has since expanded to 10 teams.
The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, including KF Drenusha, KF Fushë Kosova, and KF Liria. The current champions are KF Drenusha, who won the title in the 2022-2023 season.
Venue
The league's matches are played at the Emin Duraku Stadium in Shtime. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
